Most of the world’s nearly 3000 planetariums rely on 35-mm slide projectors to show celestial wonders not depicted by planetarium instrumentation. The Space Telescope Science Institute is pleased to support the planetarium community by providing digital files for conversion to slides and distribution through the International Planetarium Society (IPS) Slide Service. This service provides a low-cost means for planetarium educators to receive slides not only from Hubble but from other sources as well, such as JPL. For subscription information, see the IPS web site.
